Even Apple cannot resist the clamor of fans as some have already leaked what appears to be some details regarding the big Apple reveal on Tuesday, Sept. 12. These include schematics to what appears to be the latest iPhone model.

The leak, first reported in 9to5mac.com, appears to be extremely similar to predictions what the iPhone 8 would feature. It seems the iPhone 8 will pack a lot of features with its OLED capabilities.

Perhaps one of the most interesting leaks is its feature “Portrait Lighting”. Fans of Apple already know that its recent models have a portrait mode, but Portrait Lighting already improves the phone’s capability to produce effects similar to dSLR cameras. Portrait Lighting simulates light effects that can alter the quality of photos.

It appears Portrait Lighting will be launching in a beta phase first, like how the popular portrait mode did a year back. The new feature is said to support Stage Light, Natural Light, Contour Light, Studio Light, and Stage Light mono.

Included in the leak are new capture speeds and recording resolutions for the phones. These are included as follows:

  • 480 MB with 1080p HD at 240 fps 1080p HD at 240 fps
  • 135 MB with 4K at 24 fps (film style) 4K at 24 fps (Footer) 270 MB with 4K at 24 fps (film style) (HEVC Footer)
  • 450 MB with 4K at 60 fps (smoother higher resolution) (HEVC Footer) 4K at 60 fps (Footer) 400 MB with 4K at 60 fps (smoother higher resolution)

It also appears the new OLED phone will even have a True Tone Display. This is extremely helpful for photographers with white balance trouble. 1125 x 2436 also seems to be the next level of resolutions for the phone.

Apple fans may have also heard of “Pearl ID,” which may be the code term for the new “Face ID” in the leak. It appears to be the new facial recognition feature for the phone. This effectively replaces the Touch ID recognition feature in previous devices.

Interestingly, emojis found inside the phone appear to include full three dimensional characters. These are called “Animojis.”

Moreover, the phone is also expected to remove the home button entirely and opt for a more full screen motif for its users.

Unfortunately, this is the extent of the iPhone 8 leaks that were found out by some users. Some have of course begun speculations on just how the other “buttons” such as the lock button would work with the supposed “full screen” motif.

Other parts of the leak not presented here include the upcoming iOS11, and a new Apple Watch with LTE capabilities.

Apple will fully reveal its new fall product lineup on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
