Amobee, the global digital marketing technology company has announced this month that it’s recently signed an agreement which allows the company to acquire Turn, the marketing tech platform for $310 million US. With this purchase, it will deliver more to Amobee clients.

Turn offers agencies and marketers with both analytics and data solutions through the powerful data management platform DMP. This allows the company to better understand customer interactions a whole lot better across different devices and ad formats. Turn operates a DSP (demand-side platform) which helps to provide programmatic buying capabilities that can help to automate the buying process of digital ads in real time across mobile, display and video.

This new Turn acquisition will allow Amobee to offer to its customer’s independent end-to-end data and advertising management across all channels, formats and devices along with access to Amobee’s media planning capabilities, advanced analytics and Brand Intelligence insights.

Due to this large acquisition, it now makes the company one of the biggest and largest buy-side independent technology providers in the world. Liam Walsh, Amobee’s manage director for New Zealand and Australia said they will strengthen the position of the company as a digital marketing solutions provider across all devices and channels for global agencies and brands. This new acquisition is expected to be finished within the first half of this year.
